UPCOMING PERFORMANCE!!!

June 7th, 2008
Saturday
2:00 pm

Paula Josa-Jones / Performance Works presents
"RIDE flies"
an open rehearsal / informal performance of
boundary-breaking new work for dancers, aerialists, horses and riders

We will be performing new material developed during a ten-day workshop with aerialist Paola Styron, dancers Ingrid Schatz, DeAnna Pellecchia, Dillon Paul and three horses and riders. Also participating will be Escorial, the liberty trained horse belonging to equine trainer Sarah Hollis. The workshop and rehearsal take place in Mistover Farm’s large indoor arena, with aerial equipment by Flying by Foy, well known masters of theatrical flight using the patented Track On Track system, which allows two operators to independently control lift and travel of the aerial performer.
The rehearsal will last approximately 75 minutes, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to speak with the artists.
