BULLY...it's the pits
The American Pit Bull Terrier, once beloved as America’s favorite dog, has become an unwilling participant in the ultimate game of "blame the victim." Each time she is assassinated by the media or banned by politicians, she is made more and more attractive to the very individuals who have no business owning any dog at all. As the debate about the pit bull rages on, the dog continues to suffer and, in the process of debating, we have managed to strip her of her canineness, until she is no longer allowed to be what she is; simply, a dog, a loyal friend and companion.

DeAnna is an advocate for American Pit Bull Terriers.  Her pure-bred, registered APBT, Doris Elizabeth (pictured left), is a sweet, lovable, outgoing, toe-licking, children-loving, break-dancing pooch who has never attacked anything, be it human, animal or otherwise, except with big wet slobbery kisses.

Like DeAnna, Doris is a dancer and an athlete - a playful, rough and tumble dog who exudes strength, confidence and a zest for life. "Dori" is the goofiest dog you'll ever meet and has an amazing sense of humor. Her muscular physique may appear fierce and intimidating, but underneath her exterior, she is nothing but heart.  Help end the unfair treatment of this incredible dog and dogs like her.  Help stop the slander of the APBT's reputation.  Knowledge is power.....

"My kids are around pit bulls every day. In the '70s they blamed Dobermans, in the '80s they blamed German shepherds, in the '90s they blamed the Rottweiler. Now they blame the pit bull."

-Cesar Millan
