DeAnna Pellecchia is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer who approaches body-conditioning with a unique perspective by incorporating her personal experience as a professional dancer.
DeAnna specializes in in-home personal training and has been successfully helping clients reach their personal fitness goals for the past ten years. She designs individualized workouts to meet the specific needs of each client. Her sessions incorporate exercises from yoga, pilates, martial arts, dance training, cardio-training and weight training. Clients experience significant improvement in muscle strength and flexibility as well as increased stability in the body's joints. No equipment is necessary; however if you do have an in-home gym DeAnna will incorporate use of this equipment into your routine.
Working as a fitness specialist over the past decade, DeAnna has helped clients lose weight (50 or more pounds), eliminate blood-pressure and cholesterol medication, better balance, increase coordination, rehabilitate shoulder and knee injuries, ease back pain, sleep better and feel more energized on a daily basis. She has helped women with osteoporosis increase their bone-density. She has worked with Parkinson's patients on slowing the progression of the disease by keeping muscles strong and limber. She has trained men, women and children between the ages of 9 and 83 including athletes, doctors, pre and post-natal moms, business professionals, and couch potatoes. DeAnna's goal is to help clients create vitality, whole body awareness, long term health and most importantly, ease of movement through everyday life.

Ms. Pellecchia received a BA in Dance/Performance with a dual minor in Business Management and Latin from Roger Williams University. She has studied kinesiology with Heidi Henderson and anatomy and physiology with Dr. Dewight DeGeorge, DC, MS. She has been investigating Pilates, Yoga, T'ai Chi and Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) with Leda Elliott for over 6 years; she has taken master classes with Elaine Summers, MA, CAVS, inventor of Kinetic Awareness™, a sensory-based movement re-training modality; and she has explored Authentic Movement, a process of developing kinesthetic awareness, with Paula Josa-Jones, MA, CMA, her teacher and mentor of 9 years. DeAnna is a professional dancer currently performing, choreographing and touring work based out of the Boston area. She is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer and a dance educator residing on faculty at Boston University, and having taught at schools and universities throughout the country.
