STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY CLASS
RESTORATIVE EXERCISE SESSIONS
This hour-long class combines exercises from Pilates, Yoga, Dance and Martial Arts to create strong, lean muscles and bring stability to the body’s joints. Restore proper energy flow, rehabilitate injuries and cure chronic pain. For dancers and non-dancers. All levels welcome. Please bring your own mat.

INTERMEDIATE MODERN-JAZZ
This high-energy class, grounded in orientation, emphasizes athleticism, strength and fluidity.  Ms. Pellecchia’s contemporary choreography is strongly influenced by her extensive studies in martial arts, jazz technique and hip-hop. Intermediate to Advanced dancers welcome. Bare feet preferable; jazz shoes or dance-sneakers allowed.

╔╤BOSTON UNIVERSITY

DANCEBODY CONDITIONING
This class combines exercises from Yoga and Pilates with conditioning exercises used to train Dancers and Martial Artists. The first hour of the class is dedicated to conditioning and strength training; the last half hour focuses on improving flexibility. Goals are to build strong, lean, flexible muscles and stability within the body's joints...in other words, this class works toward achieving the strong, balanced body of a dancer.
NO DANCE EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Please bring your own mat.

WHEN: Fridays 1:30 – 3:00 pm, January 29th - April 9th
COST: $155 (general public) / $120 (non-fitrec members) / $95 (students/fitrec members)


JAZZ WORKOUT
This class is designed to improve strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance using the jazz dance vocabulary. Students learn high intensity, set warm-ups and dance combinations. There will also be a small section of conditioning and flexibility training with a cool-down to close class. Some prior dance experience is helpful.
